A catalogue that is never stale
Fairlead mirrors the whole NauSYS fleet into its own database: 7,600 yachts worldwide with
equipment, photos, bases, booking rules and the charter companies’ own price lists. Live
weekly prices and free weeks are pulled every day for the current and the next season.
Every price is the charter company’s current client price. A discount is shown only when
the company actually applies it, never as a marketing guess. You choose what each brand
sells: boats in Croatian marinas only, or the whole world, from the same mirror.
Search that only shows what can be booked
A dated search returns only boats whose charter company allows exactly that stay: the
right check-in day, the right length, the right base. The calendar picks
Saturday-to-Saturday weeks by default and lets the client switch to fixed dates in one
step.
Filters answer the client’s question, not the vendor’s labels. “With skipper” shows every
boat you can crew, with the skipper priced in. Every boat is listed under the marina it
actually leaves from for those dates, because operators move boats between seasons.
Booking with a real option
The client books online in a few steps. Fairlead checks the boat live with NauSYS, places
a real option in the charter company’s system and sends the offer with the price line by
line, the payment plan and every way to pay: bank transfer at the quoted price, or card
through Stripe.
Extras the company only confirms on request are marked and asked for by email, never
charged as certain. Crew is yours to sell: on a bareboat the client adds your skipper or
cook at your price, and the system checks the boat has a cabin for them.
Enquiries that answer themselves
A quote request gets an acknowledgement at once and a mail with matching boats five
minutes later, each checked live with NauSYS before it is offered. A budget gets the
nearest boats first, several sailing areas get a mail each, a named model gets similar
boats. No match never means silence: the client gets the same request with one thing
relaxed, counted and linked.
When the client asks for the final offer, Fairlead places the option itself and sends it.
Your team hears only when something needs a person: a moved price, a boat under option, a
one-way charter.
Documents issued once, from facts
The offer at the hold. A payment confirmation after each payment. The charter contract at
the first payment, agreed by the client in their own portal with the exact version
recorded. The boarding pass once confirmed and paid. The invoice at the end of the
charter, in a gap-free yearly series. A cancellation confirmation when a booking is
cancelled.
The charter company’s own terms are collected from your inboxes and its website and reach
a client only after someone in your team approves them.
A client portal and a mobile app
Clients see their bookings, payments, documents and the contract in their own account. The
same catalogue, search and checkout ship as an app for iOS and Android, built per brand
from the same code.
A back office for your team
Every record in the system is editable by your staff behind a login: bookings, payments,
enquiries, extras, pricing rules, affiliates, approved charter-company terms. Pricing
rules adjust what the client pays by boat, company, marina or country.
Operator and marina profiles on each boat page are computed live from the catalogue and
published only while a fact has been checked within 24 months.
Marketing built in
Affiliates with referral links, attribution carried through to the booking, commissions
and a partner portal. Price alerts and waiting lists. A newsletter with double opt-in and
an AI-drafted monthly issue your team reviews before it goes out.
Clean indexable URLs, one canonical per page, sitemaps per brand, your existing content
pages imported, measured page speed, and a full booking funnel in analytics with consent
handled.
Built to run unattended
All NauSYS calls go through one strictly sequential queue, as the vendor requires. Search
follows the database within seconds and rebuilds itself after every deploy. Every form
that mails a typed address sits behind a CAPTCHA and daily caps.
Rate limiting, nightly backups off the box, secret scanning, and a pipeline that tests
every change before it ships. When a nightly job fails, the system files the issue itself.
